Blessings!! He is Risen!!

I blog to you on behalf of Fr. Frank Pavone and Priests for Life. Fr. Pavone recently posted two videos on You Tube in which he describes and demonstrates the two most common abortion techniques, using the actual instruments of abortion and the words found in medical textbooks and court testimony.

You can view these videos at

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=us_y9GP_-DA (Dismemberment abortion) and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBOAPleF1t0 (Suction abortion).

These videos are part of a new project called, "Is This What You Mean?" It aims to educate the public about the nature of abortion and to challenge public officials and candidates who support the legality of abortion to admit what it is. A full description of the project is at www.priestsforlife.org/action/abortion-procedure-revealed.htm .

We are asking blog moderators to post a link or set-up an area on their blog for easy access to view our two You Tube videos.

As Fr. Pavone has quoted in endless homilies and talks about public servants who are pro-choice, there is a difference between serving the public and killing the public. Abortion has lost its meaning and is just a word to some politicians. In fact, as long as it has been since Jan.22 1973, the public is still not aware of what an abortion is and what it looks like. Again, we urge you to view Fr. Pavone’s demonstrations and forward this to anybody unaware such as parents, pastors, teachers, government officials etc….

In Christ,

David--MEV

I am currently doing one multi-vitamin, plus extra doses of C and Zinc for energy and immunity. It does get kind of addictive in the sense that I keep finding myself walking around the vitamin aisles seeking new supplements.

(I am late to your blog party, but thought I would leave some comments anyway.)

I am an "off-the-chart" E.N.T.J. In the past, I was a pretty solid ENTP, but a wise co-worker explained to me that the "P" becomes a "J" for many people after they have children. (Something to do with constantly making decisions that affect whether someone lives or dies...)

Also, I am finishing up my dissertation (PhD in Strategic Management), and I can relate to your concerns about traditional "narrow" research. Much like Ny-Quil, you get over the terrible taste and learn to love it, but the classroom is quite the playground for the ENT(X) folks. Teaching is great, but I find that I am better at it as I stay active in research.

One last thing, I heard a great preacher say one time that Jesus would have scored a 0 on all four type indicators... He's right down the middle, knows how to respond in all situations without sin, etc. That got me to thinking that we need "all types" in community if we are to balance each other out and form something closer to the Ideal.

Providentially, I married an ISFP (my complete opposite according to the "experts"), and boy, is that fun! She completes me, as they say. She's taught me to listen, and I've taught her to speak up. Good times!

I've enjoyed reading your blog(s). Keep up the good work.

Chad,
I remember really liking the covers you designed for Dave. You did those with GIMP, huh? That is a testament to the software. I have read that the software is pretty powerful, but not as user friendly as Photoshop. But for hundreds less, I can handle it. I am still looking for a decent open source video editing software though.

Good for you on taking the bus. My town is too small for a bus, but I have a 1 minute drive to work. Once I get a house and garage, I may get a bike and ride it to work.

The 29th! That's when we're moving! D'oh!

I like your Gimp work. I was getting pretty decent in Photoshop during my college days, but haven't had the software in years now, and I've been mostly impressed with The Gimp. I did all of Dave Armstrong's recent self-published book covers in The Gimp.

I always test INTJ. Don't get me on a committee unless you intend to accomplish something. And be prepared to be peppered with questions about why things are done the way they're done and have you considered this angle. Committees that are deadly for me...."Visions Committee" or "Mission Statement Committee".

Anastasia,

I agree with you there. Even when I have to say things I know are controversial, I try to do so in a way that takes the person's feelings into account. Out of curiosity, do you find your "N" tendencies make research difficult?

i always score as an F, I think because I answer the questions about individuals in terms of feelings. I think individual people deserve compassion and mercy but i think decisions (including or maybe especially theological ones) should be predicated on solid thinking.
