About

The title of this blog, An Aid to Memory, comes from the title of a work by St. Vincent of Lerins. This title is appropriate because these days many Christians are tradition-impaired, and only have a “memory” for recent theological and moral trends, whereas the Catholic Tradition is ancient. This blog originally was started to discuss theological and moral issues. However, the focus of this blog is now related to issues of health, politics, photography, and personal reflections. My Catholic posts are now on our group blog, Per Christum.

I am the co-editor of the Ancient and Future Catholics and ChurchYear.Net websites. I currently teach religion at a Catholic high school, am married to Jennifer, and enjoy golf, reading, writing, running, health, target shooting, and a lot more.
