Why is the public just now hearing so much? A dramatic study was released last winter talking about a 50 percent reduction in breast cancer and a 70 percent reduction in colon cancer in those who received 2000 IU's of vitamin D daily. And, for years we have known that at least 24,000 Americans die from lack of sun exposure (lack of vitamin D) yearly. This is more than twice the number that die from skin cancer.
